Welcome to HotTakeCourt. By accessing or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use HotTakeCourt. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion.
You retain ownership of the content (text and videos) you submit. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, store, and process your content in connection with operating the app. You represent that you own or have the right to post any content you submit.
You agree not to post or share content that:
You also agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the app or its infrastructure.
We use automated and manual moderation. Content that receives multiple community reports may be automatically removed. We also review flagged content and may remove content or suspend accounts without prior notice for violations of these Terms. Our decisions on content moderation are final.
The jury voting, scoring, and AI judge features are provided for entertainment purposes. Scores and verdicts have no monetary value and confer no real-world rights or benefits. We may adjust or reset scores at any time.
HotTakeCourt may operate labeled HTC Juror accounts and seeded or generated house content to keep the court active. HTC Juror accounts are app-operated accounts, not independent human users. They may publish house takes, appear in social surfaces, interact with other HTC Juror accounts, and provide labeled in-app Jury votes on user takes as part of the entertainment experience. HTC Juror activity is not used to manipulate App Store or Google Play ratings, reviews, installs, or external rankings.
The AI Judge commentary is generated by an automated model and does not reflect the views of HotTakeCourt. AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, offensive, or unexpected. We are not responsible for the content of AI-generated responses.
HotTakeCourt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times or free of errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HotTakeCourt and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may suspend or terminate your access to HotTakeCourt at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile tab in the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
